Mediterra is one of my favorite restaurants in Princeton. With all sorts of cool and unique dishes and a lively yet peaceful environment to eat in, the dinning experience is nothing but superb. Although Mediterra offers outdoor seating but I have been ordering takeout instead due to COVID. The food was ready about thirty minutes after ordering and came out very promptly, we were also able to pay over the phone allowing us to avoid going inside the restaurant.

To start off my meal I had the garden salad. The salad had beautiful and colorful ingredients - consisting of asparagus, radish, corn and was topped with toasted quinoa. The quinoa added a really nice and crunchy touch a top the soft lettuce base. All the ingredients were fresh and came together nicely.

One of my favorite things about Mediterra is that they have a bunch of delicious appetizers you can order (in my opinion, you can really order a couple appetizers and skip ordering a main dish). This meal I ordered the burrata, which was tomato, cucumber and toasted bread all in bite size pieces with a huge piece of gooey burrata cheese. Like the salad, this dish had very fresh ingredients. Although it was simple, the quality of the ingredients made up for its simplicity. My family and I also ordered the cheese platter, although there was nothing exceptionally unique about this dish it was a nice palate cleanser in between dishes. We also ordered the papas bravas which are one of my favorite

appetizers from Mediterra. This dish has crispy potatoes paired with two sauces. When you order this dish in the restaurant the potatoes come drenched in both sauces, but, since we ordered take out, the sauces came on the side. I personally prefer it when the sauces are on the

potatoes instead of on the side but the dish was still delicious. Finally, I had the salmon tartare which was probably the most flavorful thing I ordered. The salmon was seasoned thoroughly and placed in a ring of avocado with a sauce on the side. This dish was fresh, flavorful and overall delicious.

All in all, my meal at Mediterra did not disappoint and I recommend either going there for some nice outdoor seating or ordering takeout. I would rate this a must go to restaurant with a 9.2/10 overall rating.
