The Bent Spoon is my one of my absolute favorite ice cream spots in the world. Located ideally in Palmer Square in Princeton, New Jersey it is a must stop location on your next visit. They have the best quality ice cream, made from all natural and organic ingredients, and the most unique flavors. My go to ice cream flavor since I was young has always been the mango sorbet but I have recently come out of my comfort zone and have tried the vast majority of their flavors. Their flavors are constantly changing but some of the best ones I’ve tried have been the salted caramel, caramelized white chocolate, blueberry mascarpone, baked apple, and cinnamon (the baked apple and cinnamon go great together during the fall time!). My last time there, I decided to try some of their vegan flavors.

I got the vegan dark chocolate and vegan raspberry and it was amazing! The dark chocolate was smooth and rich, I couldn’t even tell it was vegan! The raspberry just tasted like your run of the mill raspberry sorbet but it was still incredible! The two flavors made an excellent pairing. You can also get a banana whip - another one of my favorites - which is made only of organic frozen bananas that are processed to an ice cream-like consistency. If you are not an ice cream person, the Bent Spoon is still worth a visit! In the wintertime, I enjoy their hot apple cider. It is a light and warm drink with a strong apple, cinnamon and nutmeg flavor. They also have the richest hot chocolate -

with a vegan option as well - that comes with homemade marshmallows. They have the best cookies that you can even get sandwiched together with ice cream in the middle. On top of all of that they have the most incredible cupcakes. Because of COVID, they only have mini cupcakes but they are still incredible and reasonably priced at $1.50. Their cupcakes have the perfect frosting to cake ratio with rich frosting and light, airy cake.
In terms of service, their set up is extremely COVID friendly - only having outdoor service and they have very careful staff. However, it can get pretty busy and the staff is a little slow. I would not say the service is outstanding but the ice cream is definitely worth it! I would overall give The Bent Spoon a solid 9.1/10 and completely recommend going there if you are ever in Princeton!
