Tino's Artisan Pizza Co, Kingston, New Jersey

Tino’s Artisan Pizza Co. is a local italian restaurant in Kingston, New Jersey. Tino’s is one of my family’s go-to restaurants for takeout because they have good food and prepare your food super quickly - usually our food is ready only about ten or fifteen minutes after ordering! I recently ordered dinner from there and decided to try out their gluten free cauliflower crust. The crust was what I expected it to taste like. It wasn’t bad at all, don’t get me wrong, but it just tasted like the cauliflower crust you buy at the freezer section of the supermarket. I got my usual toppings of just tomato sauce with mushroom, onion, and garlic

which was yummy (I usually don’t order cheese on my pizza because I am pretty sure I am semi-lactose intolerant). I prefer their normal crust over the cauliflower crust but if you're gluten free the cauliflower crust is a decent alternative. I am also convinced that cauliflower crust is not much, if at all, healthier than regular pizza crust but that’s a discussion for another time. The regular crust is relatively thin, which I like because it feels a little lighter than eating a slice of New York style pizza. The toppings are also very fresh - no canned mushrooms at

this pizza joint! I also like Tino’s because they have an amazing selection of salads. My personal favorite is the Greco which has all the ingredients of a normal greek salad but they put a lot of toppings on so it is super filling and flavorful - definitely not a salad that needs or should be drenched in dressing. You can also get different pastas as well as entrees but I prefer to stick to the pizza because when I get takeout I like to get something I am comfortable and familiar with. The pricing is also pretty good, it definitely is not a cheap restaurant but my huge salad costs $11 and my usual pizza is around $14 so total you’re looking at about $25 per person which for the quality of food I think is quite good. They also have a super safe and efficient curbside pickup procedure so you do not have to worry about going inside the restaurant or waiting for a long time in your car for your food. Since Tino’s is one my go-tos I would rate it a solid 8.5/10 and would totally recommend it if you are looking for a reliable and tasty take out location!
